What's the advantage of having online banking and bill pay? What about security? How do I sign up?

With online banking, you can view your account activity 24/7 – no more waiting in line at the bank or calling in to see if a check has cleared or to see what your balance is. No need to worry about security – all information is encrypted, and with our PassMark feature, if you use a different computer, you will be required to answer one of three security questions that you have chosen and only you know the answer to – this will ensure that it’s really you logging into your Peoples online banking.

Enrollment is easy – just contact a Peoples banker at your local Peoples Bank and they’ll get you set up with a login ID and temporary password.

What happens if I need to change passwords or I forget my password?

If you should ever choose to change your password, you may do so by logging into your online banking, and go to Preferences – from there you can change your password. You can also contact your local Peoples bank and they can assign a new temporary password to you.

Why would I want E-Statements? How do I sign up?

E-statements eliminate the waiting period for a paper statement to show up in the mail. On the day that your statement cuts, you will get an e-mail notifying you that you have a new statement available. It will also provide you with a link to the E-Statement website where you will log in and you can view up to 12 months of statements. Statements can also be printed off or saved to a computer in PDF format.
